3. JESUS STANDS OUTSIDE UNTIL THE DOOR IS OPENED
In Revelation 3:20 we read: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." This means that Jesus waits outside until all who can hear, should obey, and open the door for Him to enter. This applies to everyone in all seven of the churches. We are not born with Jesus in our hearts. He knocks at the door so that those who can hear will open for Him. Ephesians 3:17 teaches that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith. Only when we open our lives for Him, does He enter to feast with us.
